Dorothy Reimer
Owner

Dorothy Reimer was educated at the Alberta College of Art and Design from where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications. Upon graduating she worked in the Advertising department for Westfair Foods designing the Superstore Apparel flyer and various label and package designs. In mid 1996, at the beginning of the Internet revolution, Dorothy was hired by Xentel Interactive's Web department as a graphic designer. Here she learned the ins and outs of the wonderful new world of the web as well as the developing field of CD-ROM design. From Xentel, Reimer moved on to Intervisual. Here her passion for the Internet grew with the emergence of online applications, e-commerce and business-to-business solutions. Her skill and design abilities were greatly appreciated and honed. As a result, Dorothy now had the confidence in her ability and the experience in the industry she felt she needed to form her own graphic design company.

Dorothy prides herself in the ability to hear the needs of her clients and give them "exactly what we wanted" the first time around. Her communication skills, organizational abilities, years of experience, and training in design all add to her natural artistic abilities. She is able to draw from that experience to meet the needs of each individual project. She knows the intricacies of typography, form, colour, balance and general good design principles. Dorothy understands the importance and process of creating a cohesive and unique brand.
